Salary: R48 per hour - in line with Furniture Bargaining Council (negotiable on experience as well)
My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Saw Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating panel saws to cut and shape materials according to specifications. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate panel saws and other cutting equipment to cut materials to specified dimensions.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the correct cutting procedures.

Set up and adjust saws and cutting equipment as needed.

Ensure all cuts are precise and meet quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Perform routine maintenance on saws and equipment.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Panel Saw Operator or in a similar role (minimum of 2 years)

Proficiency in operating panel saws and other cutting equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.

Grade 12 or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
