POSITION INFO:

My client who is a leading Wealth Manager is seeking a Paraplanner to join their team in Cape Town.  

Responsibilities:

• Recording of client meeting minutes and deliverables
• Preparation of financial plans and needs analysis according to internal processes
• Communicate with relevant product providers to request required information
• Complete client onboarding form and the FICA verification process
• Uploading and submission of documents on internal platform
• Manage and execute on various client projects and to ensure clients are updated on events and transactions
• Drafting and sending correspondence to clients and external providers
• Ensuring that client files and transactions are fully compliant
• Resolving adhoc client queries
• Client Centric orientation
• Uploading and submission of documents on internal platform

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years' Para-Planner experience or exposure to Record of Advice, Financial Needs Analysis and industry compliance
• Financial Services product knowledge
• Minimum 5 years' of experience in "Elite" software would be to your advantage
• Matric Regulatory Exam 5
• Wealth Management, or equivalent qualification / degree, short courses or diplomas (minimum 120 credits)
• NQF5/6) Certified Financial Planner
• Understanding of the financial planning process
• High level of financial industry technical knowledge
• Fully computer literate
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage own time and workload effectively
