Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over 12 months.

Position: Parts Liason Clerk

Stipend: R5 500 pm

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

1. Communication with Parts Suppliers:
• Learn to communicate with parts suppliers to inquire about availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Assist in maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
2. Order Coordination:
• Gain exposure to coordinating parts orders, ensuring accurate specifications and delivery details.
• Work alongside experienced team members to track and update order statuses.
3. Inventory Monitoring:
• Assist in monitoring parts inventory levels and collaborating with the procurement team.
• Contribute to the organization and management of parts stock.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Learn to maintain accurate records of parts liaison transactions and communications.
• Contribute to the organization of documentation related to parts liaison activities.
5. Collaboration with Teams:
• Work closely with different departments to understand parts requirements.
• Contribute to effective communication regarding parts availability and orders.
6. Learning and Development:
• Pursue continuous learning in parts liaison processes and procedures.
• Attend training sessions to enhance skills related to parts coordination.

• Recent completion of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated on the YES Programme before.

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Basic understanding of parts coordination or inventory management.
• Participation in relevant coursework or training programs.
