Payroll Administrator

SUMMARY:
Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator for a contract role based in Brits at the client.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Payroll Processing.
  
• Administer end-to-end payroll processes for all employees (current HC +- 600 employees).
  
• Import hours, shifts, meals, etc.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of wages.
• Data Management.
  
• Maintain payroll records, ensuring precision and up-to-date information.
  
• Import and verify hours, earnings, and additional payroll data from different sources.
• Weekly and monthly reporting.
  
• Prepare and distribute weekly reports, including company reconciliation, total earnings, company contributions, and hours worked.
  
• Generate and analyze reports to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  
• Full function month end (processing and reconciliation of 3rd party payments)
  
• Compliance and confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and internal policies.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
  
• Proficient in payroll software, preferably People 300.
  
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent knowledge of labor legislation.
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
