Payroll Supervisor

Our client in the Logistics Industry, based in the Port Elizabeth area is currently looking to employ a Payroll Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Advanced Diploma of 4 years / NQF level 7.
• Skills and experience required.
• Up to 5 years experience.
• VIP Payroll.
• Knowledge of NBCRFLI & MIBCO Bargaining Councils preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Collating all payroll information from operational sites.
• Ensuring that all information is in the company format and approved by correct levels of authority.
• Checking of payroll costing report back to cover sheet and supporting documentation.
• Submission of monthly payroll pack to Financial Manager for signoff.
• Consolidating and payment of all payroll 3rd parties (Pension/Provident fund, Medical aid, Gap Cover, EMP201, Garnishees, Regent schedules).
• ESS administrator.
• Ensuring employees receive payslips.
• Printing month end reports and filing for auditors.
• Calculation and submission of EMP201 (easyfile) reconciliations.
• Handling all payroll queries.
• Handling adhoc and reporting requests by Financial Manager and Operations Director.
• Supervise the payroll department.
