My client is currently seeking a Performance Marketer to join their team in Johannesburg
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Paid Media Management:
- Plan, execute, and optimize PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and other paid platforms.
- Manage retargeting and prospecting campaigns to improve conversion rates.
- Allocate and optimize ad spend based on performance insights.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, and LTV.
- Set up and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking tools.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments.
SEO & CRO Optimization:
- Work with content and web teams to improve SEO rankings and organic traffic growth.
- Optimize landing pages for better conversion rates (CRO - Conversion Rate Optimization).
Marketing Automation & CRM:
- Integrate performance marketing efforts with CRM for lead scoring and segmentation.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.
Collaboration & Strategy Development:
- Collaborate closely with the Graphic Designer to create high-converting ad creatives.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and new advertising technologies.
- Develop and execute growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Design Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with a Graphic Designer to align creative concepts with marketing strategies.Content Management: Experience in managing and optimizing content for digital campaigns, including social media and email marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and social media insights.
- Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of Tech Tools: Familiarity with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, including CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
- People Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and copywriters.
- Organizational Skills: Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Performance Marketing role or Digital Marketing position with a strong focus on Paid Media (PPC) and Digital Advertising.
- Proven track record in managing and optimizing campaigns on platforms such as:
- Google Ads
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- A/B Testing and campaign optimization
- Performance tracking metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, LTV)
