Personal Assistant

SUMMARY:
Well established manufacturing company based in Kew / Wynberg (Johannesburg) area requires a Personal Assistant with 4 - 5 years relevant working experience.  Own transport is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Matric and computer literate on MS Office 
Own transport is essential for company errands / traveling

Assisting Owner with any day to day activities
Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients
Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
Handle requests and queries appropriately
Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
Make travel arrangements
Take dictation and minutes
Source office supplies when needed and liaise with accounts on purchase
Produce reports, presentations and briefs
Devise and maintain Owner's filing system
Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
Performing minor accounting duties for Owner's personal finances
Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department
Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
Marketing for the company
Assist Owner with company Job Card generating software ‘Boltpac” (training will be provided)
Assist Owner with other companies if and when it requires attention
Check with Owner on daily Stock ordering
Assist Owner with Assessing waste cut material
General Meeting with Owner regarding Daily Activities
