JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client requires a mature Personal Assistant to assist with personal administration to the Director and to the business.

The position is half day from 08:00 - 13:00. Two or three days a week.

This may at a later stage become a full-time role.

Duties will include the following:

  • Diary management.
  • Email management.
  • Schedule meetings and events.
  • Answer calls and be a gatekeeper.
  • Filing and general administration.
  • Draft letters, proposals, and presentations.
  • Assist Office Administrator answering the phones in the morning.
  • Organise personal administration (arrange online orders, delivery, collections, and appointments).
  • Arrange travel when required (local and international).
  • Assist following up on debtors when required.
  • Assist with outstanding queries with SARS and other institutions if required.
  • Assist with HR administration: arrange interviews, set up meetings, review CVs and application forms, filing, request and gather candidate assessments.

Education / Skills /Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric (compulsory).
  • Secretarial Diploma / Certificate (advantageous).
  • Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle (compulsory) – travel will be reimbursed at standard rate.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent knowledge or Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fast and accurate typing (speed minimum of 65 words per minute).
  • Experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working for senior management.
  • Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant / Office Manager experience.

  • Willing to work overtime should the need arise.
  • Must be able to work with absolute confidentiality.

This position is available immediately.

Area: Plumstead, Cape Town Southern Suburbs.

Starting date: As soon as possible.

Market related salary offered.
