SUMMARY:

Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative

The President launched the initiative in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labor department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Pharmacist assistant

Stipend: R5500.00

Location: Matatiele

POSITION INFO:

About the role

Assist in dispensing medication under the supervision of a pharmacist. Receive and process prescription orders from customers or healthcare professionals. Measure, count, and package medications accurately. Prepare labels for medication containers.

Responsibilities

Machine operation.
QA management.
Document controlling.
Exposure to batch manufacturing documentation, deviations, CAPAs, customer complaints QC lab duties (FTIR/process checks/In-house testing).
Stock management (Stock control, dispatch, receiving goods).
Procuring of rows.
QC functions.

Requirements

Qualification in Nursing.
Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
Ability to work in a team.
Strong work ethic.
Analytical and quantitative skills
communication skills.
Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
