Planning Assistant

Our client in the Retail sector based in East London is currently looking to employ a Planning Assistant.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a retail environment, replenishment, and planning role.
• Matric Required.
• Relevant degree or diploma advantageous.
• Retail planning / Marketing / Merchandising.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid code 8 driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Support the needs of the planning and allocating functions within the business.
• Be proficient across all roles related to the planning and allocating departments whilst reporting on key areas relating to the business performance.
• Highlight key areas that aid efficient decision-making within the business.
• Working with excel spreadsheets (hence advanced excel knowledge is required)
• Allocating stock to stores.
• Ordering stock based on previous years trends, analyzing current and previous trends, sales and stock movements.
• Data exporting, analysis, collating, and updating.
• Reporting on Key areas.
• Assisting with planning processes.
• Assisting with allocating of stock to stores.
• Monitoring workflow and assisting where necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in office.
