Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working on manufacturing machinery engines, forklifts, and front-end loaders.
Requirements:
- Qualified, trade-tested Diesel Mechanic
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Proven experience with diesel engines, front loaders, and forklifts
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Be of sober habits
- Clear criminal record
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines on various industrial machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on front loaders and forklifts
- Ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely
- Work with a team to manage repairs and minimize downtime
