JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description

  • Responsible for processing various types of payments: client withdrawals, third party, unit trust investments and forex payments.

  • Responding to queries, stop order requests and daily reporting of overdrawn cash positions.

  • Generation and distribution of monthly client investment statements, billing invoices and tax reports.

  • Responsible for the billing process by producing accurate billing schedules, analysing fees and requesting invoices from Finance for billing pack distribution to clients. Scrutinizing tax information for IT3b submissions to SARS.

  • Provide a high level of service in the investment valuation and tax reporting department from daily pricing and client and institutional reporting.

  • Administrative support to Onboarding Specialist (Client Facing) by assisting in planning, organizing and preparing for effective client onboarding within Melville Douglas Investment Management.

  • To drive the culture of operational excellence whilst keeping the Customer at the heart of all that we do.

  • Be accountable for ensuring high quality, differentiating and efficient customer service is provided to customers by the Client Facing Onboarding Team.

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Diploma: Investment Administration
  • Studying towards Bcom or equivalent diploma
  • 5 years relevant expereience
  • Familiar with market prices and valuations. Administrative support in Onboarding Clients.

Additional information

  • Prepare and process valuations for reporting correctly and on-time, with no missed prices.
  • Check and distribute Institutional client files,
  • Capture manual transactions as may be required and ensure that transactions are checked and signed off by a checker.
  • Prepare Client onboarding documentation, local and offshore
  • Creating and Maintaining Customer 1st profiles
  • Assist and liaise with a number of UHNW domestic and global client onboarding
