SUMMARY:
Job Title: Process Optimization Engineer
Location: Centurion
Remuneration: R30 000 - R37 000 per month

Our client, in the automotive industry, is looking to employ a Process Optimisation Engineer to join their team in Centurion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Analysing and generating applicable reports for various processes.
Measuring key metrics of current layouts.
Proposing recommendations and improvements on the analysed processes, current layouts, equipment, productivity, and business processes.
Formulating action plans to implement recommendations and improvements and communicating changes to relevant departments.
Modelling changes on the analysis software.
Sourcing Suppliers for relevant approved equipment.
Continuous follow-up on approved action plan process.
Support, comply and ensure compliance with the Health and Safety regulations, all the Companies policies and procedures, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.

POSITION INFO:
Required qualification and working knowledge:

BEng Industrial Engineering
Understanding the operational requirements of a warehouse (Health and Safety and Security)
Understanding ISO Standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 9001)
Experience with process modelling software, and warehouse software and database management
Knowledge of warehousing KPI’s
Programming language Python and/or R
