SUMMARY:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Product Manager with knowledge of the Hisense and Port products. This is an opportunity to grow within a fast paced environment where hard work is rewarded, you will be working in a close team of vibrant extroverts who supports and motivates one another.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:
  • Matric
  • Tertiary certificate/diploma or degree is advantageous
Skills and experience required: 
  • 2 + years Product Management experience
  • Multi-product experience in advantageous
  • Product knowledge – Hisense and/or Port
  • Strong Excel skills (ability to do VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables as a minimum)
  • Understanding of IT market segments (sub-distributors, resellers and end-users)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of and passion for Tech
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Own transport and valid driver’s license
  • Vaccination certificate required
Job description:
  • Reports directly to the Business Unit Manager
  • Understanding and continuous development of Hisense and Port products
  • Provide product training internally and create awareness to clients on new products on the market
  • Sales Reporting
  • Implement and improve company strategy and policies aligning with products
  • Product pricing and support and updates
  • Increase product profitability (assist with quotes, pre- and post-sales support)
  • Assist with product codes, pricelists and costing
  • Contribute in weekly sales meetings
  • Resolve stock issues
  • Manage stock efficiently
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships (customers, suppliers, etc.)
