SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Production Administrator who will assist the Cost Accountant in providing a

POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Production Administrator who will assist the Cost Accountant in providing a centralized planning function to our client, that incorporates inventory control. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring effective production execution including printing and chasing job cards, reconciling, and processing material usage and bulk job receipts.

• Evaluating the accuracy of work in progress scheduled for completeness and accuracy before manufacturing or packing.

• Identifying and communicating variances and ensuring variances are accurately accounted for across all sites and reporting any issues to Management Accountant.

• Assisting Cost Accountant in co-ordinating Company stock counts including distribution of stock sheets, processing write-offs, capturing stock-count data and printing, and distributing variance reports.

• Ensuring ISO compliance by following ISO processes.

• Assisting in Performing ISO Stock Control Audits, reporting findings.

• Maintaining data integrity by accurately analysing relevant data on Syspro and highlighting Physical BOM concerns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12.

• A tertiary qualification in the cost accounting or a related field, would be advantageous.

• 3-5 years working knowledge of a production administrative environment.

• 3-5 years working knowledge of basic cost accounting would be advantageous.

• Must be able to work according to tight deadlines.

• Experience with Syspro advantageous.

• Prepared to work after hours where necessary.
