Production Foreman

SUMMARY:
Salary: R38.88 per hour
Please note:  The salaries offered by our clients are determined in accordance with market standards, while considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
 
Working Hours: Shifts (Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays) 

• Day Shift: 07:00 - 17:00
• Night Shift: 18:00 - 06:00

• Grade 12 with English and Mathematics
• Relevant certificates or diplomas in machine maintenance or supervisory management will be advantageous
• 2+ years’ experience in production or machine maintenance
• 2+ years’ experience supervising a team
• Basic computer literacy required. Software experience will be tested during the interview.

POSITION INFO:
Duties will include but is not limited to:

• Supervising, delegating, and organizing the production team, cleaners, and other general labourers.
• Performing product inspections and overseeing the use of consumables and raw materials.
• Conducting stock keeping and reporting and performing root cause analysis for production challenges.
• Proposing solutions to address production issues.
• Ensuring adherence to all Health & Safety rules and regulations and maintaining overall housekeeping standards.
• Capturing production-related data and reporting to management.
• Performing basic repairs and maintenance, reporting faulty machines immediately.
• Motivating and supporting team members to enhance performance and morale.
• Ability to motivate and inspire the team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Trustworthy and reliable with a proactive approach.
• Energetic and hands-on attitude, willing to assist wherever needed.
