A dynamic food manufacturer based in Pretoria is looking to employ a Production Planner / Quality Controller with 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Formal Degree / Diploma in food technology
• Valid Driver’s License
• Candidate must live in reasonable distance of company location
• Managing 30 factory staff
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Forecasting and Demand Planning
• Establishing clear standards and specifications that products or services must meet
• Regularly inspecting and testing products at various stages of production to identify defects or deviations from the standards
• Continuously monitoring production processes to ensure they are operating within the defined parameters
• Collecting and analyzing data related to product quality
• Keeping detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection results, defect reports, and corrective actions taken
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement where feedback and lessons learned are used to enhance quality control processes and overall product quality
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products
• Identify areas for improvement in the production process to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to production schedules, inventory levels, and other key metrics
• Ensure that production processes adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry regulations
