SUMMARY:
As a Project Assistant, you will be at the heart of our project administration department, responsible for ensuring smooth communication between clients and departments. You will support the Production Team in coordinating projects, handling client communications, and updating progress reports. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and has a talent for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary contact for clients, handling inquiries and maintaining strong communication channels.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and send regular progress reports to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Meeting Coordination: Attend daily production meetings, take detailed minutes, and distribute reports as needed.
- Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between departments, facilitating communication between sales, procurement, quality, workshop, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution.
- Document Management: Keep reports and project-related documents organised, up-to-date, and accessible for team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project administration, project planning or as a project assistant, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent multilingual verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite), ERP systems and project management tools (e.g. Gantt charts).
- Ability to work collaboratively and transparently with various departments and maintain effective communication with clients.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering company, especially in pump or related industries.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools.
- A knack for staying calm and focused under pressure.
