SUMMARY:

Our client, a leading retail brand, is looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to provide administrative support to project managers and facilitate the effective execution of various projects within their team located in the Durban area.

POSITION INFO:

Key Duties:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation for new projects, revamps, and closures.
• Ensure all relevant checklists and documentation are reconciled upon completion of projects.
• Facilitate communication between internal departments (e.g., marketing, operations) and external stakeholders (e.g., landlords, suppliers) to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Schedule and organize meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.
• Prepare detailed budgets for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Present budgets to management for approval, using effective presentation techniques to motivate for funding.
• Monitor actual costs against budgeted figures and report discrepancies.
• Maintain organized filing systems for project documentation, ensuring easy access for team members.
• Document lessons learned from completed projects to inform future initiatives.
