Project Manager: Thuthuka

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Formulate and oversee the implementation of the strategic priorities for the Thuthuka programme.
• Market the programme and recruit academically strong students for the programme.
• Monitor academic performance of students and initiate appropriate academic interventions in consultation with academic staff.
• Coordinate academic development and student wellness programmes (wrap around support) with the aim of improving retention and throughput rates.
• Liaise with student housing and residential managers to ensure accommodation of students.
• Manage the financial administration of the programme
• Recruit and manage human resources as required for the programme (staff assisting with day-to-day administration, tutors, mentors etc)
• Manage relationships with key Internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide input into research projects undertaken pertaining to the programme.
  • Report to university management and SAICA Thuthuka office.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for appointment to this post, candidates should preferably possess a relevant honours degree (or equivalent) with at least three years relevant management experience, preferably in a tertiary educational environment.
