Main Purpose:

The proofreader is responsible for ensuring that, before being sent to production and/or clients, all copy and transcripts that are developed are proofread and checked to make sure that the text matches the original, that spelling and style and page numbers, headings and captions are correct and that all corrections overall are in line with brand corporate identities and tonality.

Job Objectives:

• Liaise with account managers and/or clients and understand their needs and briefs
• Proofread copy for various mediums to check word choice, sentence flow, spelling and grammar and consistency with brand tonality and style ensuring that all changes are made in a timely manner and that specific client requests are incorporated
• Accurately capture administrative logs
