Proofreader (junior)

This creative advertising agency, prides themselves on producing impactful, original designs and quality copy. They're looking for the latest addition to their copy team. This is a proofreading entry level  full-time position.

Do you have a knack for picking up grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors? Are you able to turn documents around timeously in a busy environment and keep track of on-going projects? If so, this is the position for you

The role involves the following:

• Proofreading the designed element (PDF) against the original copy (Word) and instructions/brief
• Editing copy for social media and websites
• Adhering to UK English conventions and various style guides

Requirements:

• Experience in proofreading or a degree in English/editing or similar
• Work from the Bryanston office alongside the design team
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Reader DCs PDF editing tools
• Ability to follow detailed, complex, English written instructions
• Pass a series of editing tests
