SUMMARY:
Property Accounts Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Property Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team in City Centre, Cape Town, that specialises in property development. The ideal candidate must come with 1+ years of experience in an administrative financial role. The candidate will serve as a key contributor in maintaining financial records, overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes whilst collaborate closely with the accounting team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric.
Relevant financial or accounting qualification.
Advantageous: Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
1+ years’ experience in a financial support role.
Accounting Software experience (e.g., Sage, Xero).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare invoices, receipts, and other essential documentation to support financial transactions.
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable related to property dealings.
Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, and vendors to address financial matters.
Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and ledger reconciliation.
Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for property projects.
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial statements.
