Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive Property Administrator / Financial Bookkeeper to manage and oversee a junior staff member. The role requires expertise in property management, financial bookkeeping, and a working knowledge of Sage. The ideal candidate should also be confident in handling client communications regarding outstanding payments and have experience with tax and VAT submissions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage day-to-day property management operations.
Supervise a junior property administrator.
Handle tax and VAT submissions accurately and timely.
Contact clients for outstanding payments.
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs.
Respond to tenant inquiries and ensure tenant satisfaction.
Maintain accurate financial records using Sage software.
Assist with budget management and ensure property compliance with legal and financial regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in property management and financial bookkeeping.
Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of tax and VAT processes.
Excellent communication skills for client follow-ups.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to oversee a junior staff member.
Availability for an immediate start.

Additional Information:

This is a half-day role, offered initially as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position.
The position is based in Centurion.
Salary: R14,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
