Property Inspector - IGrow Rentals - Cape Town

SA's #1 Property Investment Group is looking for a Property Inspector to join their team within the rentals department. Please see the following requirements and duties required from this amazing opportunity! 

Requirements:

• Matric
• Maintenance/ Home inspection certificate or similar
• General handyman skills
• 3-5 years experience
• Reliable transport
• Communications skills
• Organised
• Problem solving abilities

Duties and responsibilities:

• Carrying out detailed inspections at rental properties
• Doing the comparison report and advising the owner and tenant as to who is liable for what and by when this should be done.
• Sending quotes to owner and tenant, having quotes approved, scheduling the work with outsourced contractors, ensuring work is done and hand invoice to portfolio admin once payments is needed.
• Reaching a target of 80 -100 inspections per month
• Assisting with entry, exits & viewings when/if required
• Delivering summons’ on request of Portfolio office
• Assisting with small maintenance jobs on site when/if required
• Sourcing material upon request
• Assist with buying of material when/if required
• Attending to emails & provide feedback within 24hours
• Opening tickets for quality control maintenance on Red Rabbit and follow through until ticket is closed
• Checking on maintenance work once completed if requested
• Ad hoc duties as and when required
