Role description
As the Cape Town basedProvincial Franchising Manager for this Financial Services Organisation you will be responsible for the following;
To drive the implementation of the bank's franchising strategy in order to increase market share and penetration, share of wallet in the franchising sector, while keeping a focus on sectors expertise, profitably and risk management within the designated Province.
• Profitable growth in sales
• Customer service quality and efficiency
• Lending support and risk management
• Business Development
• Marketing Support
• People management

• Targeted growth
• Franchising penetration
• Quality of Franchising MIS
• Multi-rater feedback

• Business growth/ sales targets met and exceeded
• Increased franchising penetration/ market share
• Increased customer satisfaction
• Well established and cemented relationship networks with Franchisors
• Visibility and professional credibility in the franchise sector
• Proactive and reliable value-added financial solutions/ business advice in line with industry and client requirements
• Fast, efficient and competitive response and turnaround times to leads
• Increased brand awareness
• Participation in key trade exhibitions.
• Attendance at seminars and industry functions
Who we're looking for
The successfulProvincial Franchising Manager should have the following;
• Relevant business related tertiary qualification, eg.BCom
• Qualifications and experience as determined by the "Fit and Proper Requirements" of the FAIS legislation.
• Strong numerical skills and financial acumen to analyse evaluate and identify trends in complex consolidated financial statements, balance sheets and ratios.
• A good knowledge of financial spreadsheet applications (e.g. Excel) to capture and analyse financial data.
• A good understanding of the principles and practices of business economics and the current business economic environment.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the rules, regulations and legislation governing the franchise sector and financial services industry.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of key franchise operations e.g. Macdonald's
