Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Purchasing Expeditor, to join their team in Chamdor, Krugersdorp, West Rand, Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Purchasing Expeditor
Industry: Manufacturing Industry
Location: Chamdor, Krugersdorp, West Rand, Gauteng
Salary: Market Related Salary

The expeditor will ensure that outstanding purchase orders are followed up continuously to ensure minimum stock outages and ensure stock arrives on time at the warehouse. Strong negotiation and expediting skills. Good technical knowledge

Requirements - Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 / Matric
MS Office
Syspro
2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Daily expediting of all sales orders.
Daily expediting of all requisitions.
Daily follow up with suppliers regarding delivery issues.
Daily expediting of all WIP components.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a record of outstanding purchase orders.
Contact vendors to understand the status of outstanding purchase orders for sales.
Ensure that quantity of items being delivered matches the purchase order.
Coordinate with the end user to avoid any delay in the procurement process.
Obtain ETA`s on outstanding components and ensure completion of sales back-order reports.
Communicate outstanding ETA`s with branch administrators.
