Purchasing Manager

SUMMARY:
Grasp large line of items, some of a technical nature to assist with costing of stock, freight imports and liaise with suppliers.

POSITION INFO:

Great position if you enjoy being busy and part of a dynamic organisation based in Woodstock, Cape Town. Your relevant experience and skillset in Purchasing will make you a suitable candidate for the role. This position is office based, working hours 08h00 - 17h00 Monday to Friday.

Criteria:

• Matric
• Financial experience or relevant qualification
• 2-3 years relevant experience
• Purchasing experience
• Ability to manage a small team
• Costing of stock
• Freight imports
• Booking UPS
• Liaise with suppliers
• Deal with customer''s accounts, receipts
• Strong EXCEL and WORD - strong computer skills
• Assisting with booking collection or couriers, sea freight, airfreight
• Keen eye for detail and sticking to procedures
• Excellent administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated - strong goal-orientated
• Present yourself in a professional manner 
• Ability to learn large line of items 
• Excellent organisational skills
