QC INSPECTOR (LEVEL1) – KEMPTON PARK (3807)

 Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent
• Completed Level 1 qualification

 Experience and requirements:

• 3 or more years’ experience in the steel fabrication or related industry is essential
• Comprehensive knowledge of welding specs within the cut to size / manufacturing industry is essential
• A solid welding background
• Knowledge of CNC Bending, Laser & Waterjet Cutting, fabrication and rolling
• Reside close to Kempton Park
• Have own reliable transport
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Of sober habits
• Able to work overtime as an when required
• Be a team player

 Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure QC data books are as per company standards
• Complete pre and post quality checks
• Able to read and interpret a technical drawing
• Assist with various other duties required in the fabrication department
• Follow fabrication work in progress and customers outstanding reports
• Arrange inspections with customers
• Assist with welding inspections, workshop quality requirements and general inspections
