SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Quality Technician in Germiston. (Steel industry)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas:

Excellent Steel knowledge essential, especially automotive steels and associated processing methods

Provide clear leadership for development of an enviroment focused on Quality.Develop quality - Quality Management sytem( including TS16949, ISO14001/OHAS18001)process links with customers inline with Production part approval process(PPAP, Advance Product Quality planning(apqp), Controls plan, Failure mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Supplier Quality Assuurance(SOA)processes and oversee continued compliance andembedding across the business.

A qualification in Industrial / Mechanical / Quality Management Diploma is a must.

Experience:

5 to 10 years’ experience in steel processing production and experience as a Quality technician/manager
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment will be advantageous
Must have own transport and a Driver’s License
Must have working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949
Must have working knowledge of core tools > FMEA; Control Plans, MSA; SPC; APQP
