Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician

Location: Johannesburg North Area

A very well-known motor dealership is looking to appoint a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and the necessary qualifications to perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic assessments and vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
• Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with industry regulations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on vehicle maintenance to customers as needed.
• Keep accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a recognized trade qualification.
• Proven experience working as a vehicle technician at a motor dealership.
• No criminal record.
• Contactable references from previous employers or dealerships.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
