Qualified Plumber

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair piping systems in both industrial and residential settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques to ensure efficient water supply, drainage, and gas systems.

POSITION INFO:
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Trade Certificate/Diploma in Plumbing or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in industrial and residential plumbing.

1. Installation & Maintenance

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage, and gas lines.
• Fit and assemble pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in residential homes, factories, and commercial buildings.
• Inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs for plumbing projects.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

1. Industrial Plumbing

• Install and maintain industrial piping, boilers, water treatment systems, and high-pressure pipelines.
• Work on large-scale projects, including factories, manufacturing plants, and processing facilities.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and efficiency using specialized tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and construction teams to ensure project success.

1. Residential Plumbing

• Repair and install household plumbing systems, including bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor water systems.
• Troubleshoot issues such as leaks, blockages, and low water pressure.
• Install water heaters, geysers, and other plumbing appliances.
• Provide routine maintenance services and emergency repairs.

1. Safety & Compliance

• Follow health and safety regulations to prevent hazards in plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with national and local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Use proper PPE and follow safety protocols while handling hazardous materials.

1. Customer Service & Reporting

• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Provide cost estimates and recommendations for plumbing repairs or upgrades.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
