Quality Inspector

SUMMARY:
Introduction:
Responsible for ensuring that products manufactured meet all established quality standards by performing routine inspections, testing products, identifying defects, and recommending improvements to the production process to maintain customer specifications and industry compliance.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Ensure that all components received and manufactured, adhere to dimensional and other quality requirements reflected by drawings and specifications
• Dimensional and visual inspection of all incoming raw materials, as laid down in the specific work instructions.
• Conduct final inspections of manufactured products in accordance with QCP’s defined.
• Completion of all necessary documentation such as inspection check sheets/reports
• Reading and understanding blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications to ensure products are manufactured according to design requirements. 
• Regularly checking and calibrating measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.

• Matric
• Minimum 3 years' experience within manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
• Experienced in using calipers, gauges and micrometers to check dimensions
• Experience in assembly, welding, and machining
