Quality Manager (Clothing)

SUMMARY:
Join a dynamic clothing supply company in Umbilo, Durban, as a Quality Manager! We’re seeking a proactive and organized individual with excellent computer skills and the ability to liaise with top retailers in a professional, friendly manner.

POSITION INFO:
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring product quality by overseeing daily quality control processes, managing inspection reports, and maintaining standards throughout the production cycle from First Fits to Bulk Production.  You'll handle quality checks for samples, lab dips, and strike-offs, ensuring compliance with specifications. Additionally, you will manage documentation, upload quality reports on systems like Sync, and support communication with retail partners. You'll also take minutes during quality-related meetings.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
• Experience with Sync or similar quality management systems
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the clothing or manufacturing industry
• Experience working with Quality workbooks and retailers' quality processes and procedures
• A detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills
• A proactive team player with strong organizational abilities
