Quantity Surveying Manager (Mauritius)

Our client a well-respected building contractor require an experienced Quantity Surveying Manager to take responsibility for their Quantity Surveying department. The company specialises in building projects mostly consisting of Luxury Villas and Apartment developments across Mauritius.

The successful candidate will require: -

• Minimum of 10 years post grad contracting experience and hold a Quantity Surveying qualification.
• Should have some experience in a similar position managing a Quantity Surveying team.
• Report directly to the Head of Construction
• Strong CCS skills a prerequisite.
• Take full responsibility for the performance of companies QS’s on projects.
• Mentor, train and develop quantity surveyors under your management when required
• Assure the timely and accurate submission of cost reports, budgets, monthly certificates, sub/contractor certificates on all sites.
• Attend management meetings.
• Manage and oversee contractual matters
• Ensure that quantity surveyors liaise with site management, in regard to monthly submissions and contractual claims.
