- Detailed knowledge of existing technology in the industry, legal issues and complex regulations (including JBCC/NEC/contracts and contract documents)
- Ability to understand and interpret project design drawings

Required Qualifications:
- 3 year University or Technology diploma advancing to a B-Tech degree after a further year of study or BSC QS degree.
- Knowledge of costs and prices of work, labour, materials and plant required
Experience:
- Minimum 5- 10 years quantity surveying experience within the Mechanical, Electrical and General building contracting organizations.
Working Conditions:
The role is based on-site at construction projects.
Overtime work may be required
Valid South African drivers licence required
Site visits/inspections will be required
Site medical tests required
