SUMMARY:
Quantity Surveyor required to work on numerous construction sites in the Stellenbosch and Boland areas of Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Quantity Surveying Degree or Diploma is essential
  • Must have 8 to 10 years experience gained with Hotels and Apartment Buildings

This QS role works under a Commercial Manager and reports to a Commercial Manager and is responsible for site based QS's

Duties:
  • Appointing of subcontractors
  • Submitting of monthly valuations
  • Processing of sub-contractor payments
  • Liaising on a weekly basis with client representatives on Variations and the cost thereof
  • Final Accounts i.e. client & sub-contractors
  • Preparing monthly Cost Reports, forecast projections & cash flows
  • Preparation of sub-contractors payments
  • Monthly valuations and final accounts
  • Monthly cost reports, budgets
