Job Description

You will be employed as a Project Developer with the principle responsibility for developing the solar and small scale embedded generation (SSEG) portfolio.

• Provide project development services to develop and build an investable portfolio of projects, and ensure these are delivered, either as stand-alone projects or through co-development or co-investment with other industry players
• Project design, engineering and development – secure, design develop, and oversee the implementation of a portfolio of C&I projects utilizing solar, storage, hybrid and other suitable technologies
• Project modelling
• Project Management
• Business development
• You will specifically assist in identifying, securing and implementing Small Scale Embedded Generation (rooftop PV, hybrid generation projects, mini-grids and smart grid projects) across the market, but particularly in the property sector, agriculture, agro-processing, mining, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Projects aimed at Municipal off-take will also be part of your priority target market but will need to be subjected to proper scrutiny and commercial evaluation

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng Engineering or
• BTech Engineering and Pr Tech Eng

Skills

• 3 years PV Solar experience
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite in particular ability to use Excel for project financial modelling.
