Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining all manufacturing plant and equipment ensuring optimum availability and efficiencies.
• Improve equipment reliability by increasing the mean time between failure while reducing the mean time to repair.
• Reduce maintenance costs.
• Ensure that facilities are well maintained.
• Ensure that equipment complies with all legal requirements as per the OSHACT.
• Maintenance Strategy and Development
• Assist on CAPEX planning and budgeting according to company standards
• Supervise, coach and develop a high performing maintenance team
• Input and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets

Qualifications

• N6 Electrical Engineering as a minimum
• Trade Test (Red Seal)
• Wireman’s Licence will be advantageous.

Skills

• 5 - 8 years’ post apprenticeship experience
• Experience in fitting and turning/mechanical fitting, CNC machining and drawings
• Ability to plan and strategize.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Resilient, optimistic and open to change.
