RETURNS SUPERVISOR

Responsibility for the overall management of returned items/goods into the warehouse.

The role will include the development, performance, and maintenance of returns/stock control to produce an efficient system and receipts solution, maximizing performance against set targets.

Role and responsibility

• Ensuring that the credit/returns team understands their duties, the mechanisms of the warehouse and their role within the warehouse
• Manage, direct, and monitor the performance of the warehouse for the business including the development and maintenance of the warehouse, inventory of returns/stock control and returns process to produce smooth and efficient system.
• Effective liaison, support, and assistance with the whole of the warehouse
• Maintain and improve mechanisms for running the warehouse and returns process, including surveying and measuring the inventory of returns/stock control, returns process, outcomes and expenditure and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities
• Utilize agreed systems to manage the warehouse and stock control functions, analysis, and documenting
• The development of plans for the warehouse, inventory of returns/stock control and returns process to contribute towards warehouse targets
• Reporting on a weekly basis on the status and progress of the credits department
• Assist in developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve targets
• Manage and maintain contact with internal and external clients/customers
• Set an example for team members and warehouse of commitment, warehousing expertise, work ethics and habits and personal character
• Maintain accurate records
• Meet the targets and those of the team
• The smooth running of the team
• Contribute to training and development of the team
