Rates and Sales Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Rates & Sales Coordinator to support our sales team within our hospitality group. This role involves managing rate contracting, coordinating sales activities, and acting as a key point of reference for both colleagues and customers.

POSITION INFO:
Scope & General Purpose:

• Issue and manage rates and specials as required.
• Assist with the set-up and contracting of yearly rates.
• Ensure sales-related equipment and materials are adequate and up-to-date.
• Respond to customer queries and provide necessary assistance.
• Store, sort, and present data in electronic form; manage database efficiently.
• Assist with organizing educational trips, trade shows, and sales trips.
• Upload information and reports onto the sales CRM system.
• Organize pre-sales trips and manage the diary for the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Reservations.
• Follow up on post-sales trips and trade shows with detailed reports.
• Interact with tour operators to meet information requirements.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales activities.
• Coordinate reservations for approved site inspections.

• Proven experience in sales coordination and rate contracting within the hospitality industry.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized, responsible, and adept at problem-solving.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Team player with a high level of dedication.
• Qualifications in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing; certification in relevant fields is advantageous.
• Experience with reservations systems is a plus.
