POSITION INFO:
We are looking for Reach Stacker Operator for a Renowned Company in Port Elizabeth.
Primary Purpose of the position:
Loading and off-loading of orders and containers according to the required sequence.
Minimum:
- Must have at least two years’ experience in a similar position
- Matric Qualification is essential
- Valid Reach Stacker License (Code C48) 45000 KG
Duties:
- Ensure the correct PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is utilized at all times.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to the rules and regulations as documented within the company’s policies and code of conduct.
- Participate in flexibility training initiatives.
- Ensure to do the Reach Stacker Operator inspection sheet at commencement of shift.
- Report all issues as per the inspection sheet to the Supervisor.
- Obtain the orders from the Supervisor required for stacking and/or loading or offloading of containers.
- Stack all orders in the assigned location as per the required sequence.
- Ensure that the Reach Stacker Operator machine is operated in a safe working manner at all times.
- Ensure to be vigilant of all other employees whilst operating the Reach Stacker.
- Ensure all loads is stable and locked to avoid instability before operating the Reach Stacker.
- Ensure to stack the containers as per the required order and/or sequence.
- Ensure to offload containers as and when required.
- Assist in operating the Empty Handler Machine as and when required.
- Ensure a shift handover is done with the following Reach Stacker Operator commencing duty.
