JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the shipping industry is looking for a React and React Native Developer to join their organization

Location: Little Falls, Roodepoort

Requirements:

1+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
3+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience working with JavaScript, JSX, Firebase, PHP, and Java is a plus but not required.
Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.

Responsibilities:

Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
Reviewing current systems
Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
Producing detailed specifications
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
Recommend and execute improvements
Preparation of training manuals for users (where applicable)
Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
Working directly with the UI Designer to implement designs rendered with the highest precision and detail
Work with the development team on technical issues including software system design and maintenance
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Report directly to the team leader for any queries or updates
Participate in weekly update meetings
Work on Land and Sea Shipping’s software maintenance and upgrade
