Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Short Summary:

The main responsibility of this position is verifying that the quantity and quality of stock received are correct and ensuring all stock in the Warehouse is neatly marked and meets audit requirements.

Responsibilities:

All Inbound Inspections
- Accurate documentation
- Sampling to the Laboratory
- Physical inspection of stock
Rework Station
- Verifying returns
- Complete the "Returned Product Inspection Form"
- Execute recommendations from Quality Control
- Complete "Rework Summary"
Pallet Identification
- Incoming stock
- Stock back from Production
- Reworked stock
Maintain close working relationships with relevant departments
Ad hoc tasks as per the direct Supervisor/ Manager

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

Minimum of Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Literacy in Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge of SAP and Qwix will be an advantage
One to two years of experience in a similar environment
Receiving or inbound experience is essential

Interpersonal Skills

Ability to work independently and under pressure
Attention to detail and accurate
Good communication skills
A logical thinker and eager to learn
Disciplined and reliable
