Receptionist with Experience in Pastel and Invoicing

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist to manage front-desk duties and support the finance team with invoicing and reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate must have experience using Pastel software and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

POSITION INFO:
Location: Durban North/Surrounding Areas.
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar front-office role.
• Proficiency in Pastel software is essential.
• Experience with invoicing and financial reconciliation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administration or finance is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling financial documents.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Must reside in Durban North or surrounding areas.

• Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and handle inquiries.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
• Manage and coordinate appointments and meeting room schedules.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
• Prepare and process invoices using Pastel software.
• Conduct financial reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and efficient processing of transactions.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
