Our client in the FMCG sector is seeking a specialized Recon Clerk to join their team. The purpose of this role is to perform the reconciliation processes for cash, asset positions, and trade processing, as well as managing exceptions, conducting investigations, and escalating issues when necessary
Duties will include:
- Process and reconcile banking transactions
- Create and maintain financial reports
- Handle system entries for banking operations
- Perform daily cash book management and bank reconciliations
- Support month-end financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with banking and accounting procedures
- Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries to correct account balances
