POSITION INFO:

Red Seal Trade Tested Panelbeater – East Rand

Responsible for the restoring the bodywork of heavy duty trucks after damage due to accidents, wear and tear or other incidents. Role involves working with large vehicles, requiring specialised skills in metalwork, welding and finishing techniques to ensure the truck’s structural integrity and appearance are restored to their original condition

Minimum requirements:

Red Seal Trade Tested qualified Panelbeater
Minimum 3 years’ experience in panelbeating, preferably with heavy duty trucks
Expertise in metalwork, welding and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and repair manuals
Ability to assess damage and develop repair strategies
Creativity in fabricating parts or finding alternative repair methods
Knowledge of truck body structures and materials, business principles relating to panelbeating and an understanding of quality management processes
