Rental Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Well established company in Cape-Town seeks a Rental Sales Representative from heavy equipment (open to candidates willing to relocate at own cost)

POSITION INFO:

Role Purpose 
Responsible for all sales & rental activities in the Cape Town and surrounds for earthmoving and road machinery

Minimum Requirements 
-Matric certificate.
- Own transport essential 
-Heavy machinery product or technical knowledge.
-Minimum of 5 years’ sales and rental experience essential 
-Basic financial knowledge
- Good customer and communication skills cold calling, general customer liaison
- Relocation at own cost 

Duties will include 

• Present and rent products and services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets 
• Follow up on new leads and referrals 
• Identify rental prospects 
• Develop and maintain rental materials and current product knowledge.
• Establish and maintain current clients and potential client relationship.
• Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
• Prepare a variety of status reports.
• Participate in marketing events 
• Follow-up for collection of payment
• Ensure that rental fleet monthly utilizations are met.
• Manage maintenance costs on current rental fleet and ensure that rental fleet is kept up to date
