SUMMARY:
An opportunity has arisen with our client in the automotive sector, based in Rustenburg, for a Repair Shop Assistant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Support the Workshop Technician in a constructive manner, ensuring that the internal department relationships are properly maintained
To maintain all work bays, special tools and equipment in a clean and tidy condition
Ensure that all lubricants used are recorded on the job card
Ensure that all parts used are recorded on the job card
Record the use of consumable items
Participate in all relevant training programmes
Share your new knowledge with others
Ensure that all creditors are captured timeously
Take corrective action on out-of-line items
Adhere to budget guidelines at all times
Keep all components which are worked on in proper assembly order and cleaned prior to assembly
Always assist technician to maintain high levels of good housekeeping
Check, maintain and report on any out-of-line items such as OHS / SHE and or other concerns which are deemed 'outside' of company policy
