POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservationist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate is a mature professional with a proven track record in reservations, preferably in the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for managing guest reservations, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a seamless booking experience.

Reservation Management:
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online booking platforms.
- Accurately enter and update bookings in the reservation system.
- Confirm reservations and send booking details to guests.
- Manage cancellations, modifications, and special requests.

Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with inquiries regarding availability, rates, and services.
- Offer tailored recommendations based on client needs and preferences.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all reservations and guest information.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, front office, etc.) to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Communication:
- Liaise with third-party booking platforms and travel agencies.
- Respond promptly to emails and phone calls.
- Maintain strong relationships with returning guests and VIP clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Reservationist role, preferably in the hospitality industry (e.g., hotels, lodges, guesthouses).
- Familiarity with online booking platforms and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Nightsbridge, Protel, or similar).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
